GDPR means that from May 2018 you'll have to stop using all marketing data, unless you can show that you have explicit consent that is informed and freely given. Because the consent has to relate to your use of it, you will no longer be able to buy in marketing lists that contain Personally Identifiable Information; and you'll have to stop using all existing data, unless you have that audit trail of consent!
